Bleach has finally returned for its 3rd Cour, and with it brought some surprising good results. Bleach Cour 3, dubbed ‘The Conflict‘, has topped at number 2 in the My Anime List website. This is a feat that has shocked the anime community since it has only been a day since the anime aired. On top of that, it has knocked FullMetal Alchemist back to the 3rd position, after it lost its title to Frieren Beyond Journeys End.
With a score of 9.12, Bleach has come a very long way to be this high up on the website. This only goes to show ow high up the Bleach TYBW anime has been received, and how generational it will be many years to come. Studio Pierrot have outdone themselves in the adaptation of this arc from the manga. With the constant supervision of the anime production by the series creator, Tite Kubo, Bleach TYBW has the potential to be generational.
The 3rd Cour, ‘The Conflict’, has started on a very high note with improvements to animation and direction of the anime. From the opening showing insane quality, to the episode’s overall animation, Pierrot Films have made Bleach to be in the same conversations as the top tier of anime with crazy animation. Bleach TYBW Cour 3 may be a contender for Anime of the Year, if this goes on this fall of 2024. The 2nd position that Bleach is currently at may change over the course of this season, but for now, Bleach fans are winning.
