The first cour of Re: Zero season 3 is ending today on the 20th of November, and with it brings good news for fans all over the net. The second cour dubbed, the ‘Counter Attack‘ arc, has just been announced to be debuting on the 5th of February 2025.
This comes as a surprise since the whole season was only listed to have 16 episodes, meaning the second cour will have a total of 8 episodes. This short amount of episodes don’t actually affect the series, this is because the first episode had a run time of 1hour 30 minutes. On top of that, the typical Re: Zero episode always has a run time of about 25-29 minutes of content, often with the opening and ending song emitted.
This means Cour 2 of Re: Zero may as well be perfect to end the 3rd season considering the run time. Subaru and the gang are in for a lot of hell as 4 of the Arch Bishops are in the ‘ Watergate City of Priestella‘. This is crazy considering only one of the Arch Bishops being Petelgeuse, gave Subaru a lot of not so good memories during season1.
As the first cour ends today, fans of Re: Zero will have a good amount of time to digest the information given, and await what in store for them come February of next year. The ‘Counter Attack’ arc will be nothing but peak fiction….of course, in Re: Zero fashion.
