The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You Season 2 Just dropped a New Key Visual

The new season for The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You, has just been announced and confirmed to premiere on January 12, 2025. The Key visual for the second season shows Rentaro Aijo with another roster of new faces that were fated to fall in love with him.

The first season of The 100 girlfriends first aired in the fall of 2023, bringing with it another take on the Harem genre of anime. This was most definitely a different approach that the author of the manga took, but it certainly worked. The story follows Rentaro, a teenage boy who has confessed to 100 girls and been rejected every time. When lucks seems to not be on his side, the God of Love informs him that his Fated Soulmate has just been chosen, but there is a caveat. The God of Love accidentally chose 100 girlfriends to be his soulmate, meaning if he does not reciprocate his feelings back to them they will die.

This puts Rentaro in a sticky situation where he has to love 100 different girlfriends who come in all shapes, colors and very specific personalities. So far he has met 6 of his fated soulmates as of season 1. They are: Hanazono Hakari, Inda Karane, Eiai Nano, Yoshimoto Shizuka, Yakuzen Kusuri and Hanazono Hahari. The roster is about to become even bigger with season 2 introducing other characters, so the adventures have just began. We saw how perfectly Rentaro capsulated his love for all his soulmates in season 1, with each one of them playing a different role for his life. Season 2 will be a wild ride for fans of this anime so look out for winter 2025 for it will start with a bang.
