It’s was officially announced that Wistoria: Wand And Sword Season 2, is already in production. The anime that took summer of 2024, is coming back for another season. Will is getting more screen time to show off his skills with the sword, in a world full of magic. Studio Actas really went above and beyond in the adaptation of this manga. From the animation, to art direction and even the amazing Ost, they really did a good job in the production of the anime.
The story of this anime is pretty simple, as Will is trying to overcome impossible odds. In a world that magic is held in high regards, not being able to use it is simply a con on part of living in this world. Will goal of being a Magia Vander seems impossible. Yes Elfaria, who is Will’s goal, became a Magia Vander at such a young age, but that was due to how proficient in magic she really was. The gap is clearly established, creating a wall that Will has to climb as he aspires to reach Elfaria at the top of the tower.
Season one of Wistoria has established how dire the situation is at the academy, with the impending doom that is literally on top of them. The fake sky, made up of multiple magic circles and barriers, may soon crumble unleashing the evil crouching on the residents in the academy. From the connection established between Will and the Mage Queen, to special power that has been lying dormant in Will, season 2 shows promise to deliver on the multiple questions we have on those topics.
The release date has not been confirmed, but if production has started then late fall 2025, or summer 2026 is when it will return. This has been a great watch for the summer and looking forward, Wistoria: Wand And Sword Season 2, may take over the internet when it comes back, keeping the hype train hot and fresh.
